...THE WHOLE ALBUM IS BASED AROUND THE AMAZING COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION WE HAVE WITH OUR FAN BASE. AS YOU KNOW, WE ARE A COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT DIY BAND AND SO WHEN JOIN THE CLUB HIT NUMBER ONE IN THE ROCK CHARTS, IT MEANT EVERYTHING TO US! WE ONLY MANAGED IT BECAUSE YOU GOT US THERE, AND WE WILL NEVER STOP SAYING THANK YOU!
THE SOUND OF THIS ALBUM IS EXACTLY WHERE WE WANT IT TO BE. THERE IS A TRACK ON THERE FOR EVERYONE, WHETHER YOU WANT AN ENERGETIC POP PUNK BOP, A HEAVY RIFF TO MOSH TO, OR A SONG TO HIT YOU RIGHT IN THE FEELS!
THE FIRST SONG ON THE ALBUM IS THE TITLE TRACK JOIN THE CLUB, AS WE SAW NO BETTER WAY TO OPEN OUR LATEST AND GREATEST ALBUM.
IN TRUE AS DECEMBER FALLS FASHION, WE ONCE AGAIN TOUCH ON DELICATE TOPICS, BUT IT FEELS DIFFERENT. RATHER THAN WALLOWING IN THE UNHAPPINESS, THE MESSAGE IS THAT YES THERE ARE BAD DAYS, BUT, WE ARE GOING TO GET THROUGH THIS TOGETHER AND COME OUT THE OTHER SIDE!

HONEY IS A SUPER SPECIAL SONG TO ME AS IT HELPED HEAL SOMETHING THAT I TRULY MISSED.
ME AND MY BEST FRIEND HAD A BIG FALL OUT AND DIDN'T SPEAK FOR ALMOST A YEAR. IT'S STRANGE BECAUSE IF YOU ASKED EITHER ONE OF US HOW IT STARTED WE COULDN'T ANSWER YOU. IT JUST SPIRALLED.
I WROTE HONEY ABOUT HER, BECAUSE AS MUCH AS WE HAD THIS FALLING OUT, I STILL LOVED AND MISSED HER LOTS.

AS THE NAME SUGGESTS, THIS SONG WAS WRITTEN WHEN I WAS SUFFERING WITH INSOMNIA. NO MATTER WHAT I TRIED OFF MY EXTENSIVE GOOGLE SEARCH, NOTHING HELPED.
I SIMPLY LAY THERE THINKING ABOUT THE MOST RANDOM THINGS, PEOPLE FROM MY CHILDHOOD, CONVERSATIONS I'D HAD, MAKING LISTS OF FILMS I WANTED TO SEE, BOOKS I WANTED TO READ. HONESTLY I THOUGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING EXCEPT FOR SLEEPING!
THIS IS ACTUALLY I THINK THE THIRD OR FOURTH RE-WRITE MUSICALLY OF THIS SONG. WE COULDN'T GET IT TO WORK FOR A WHILE. THEN ON THE DAY OF RECORDING WE SIMPLY SCRAPPED EVERYTHING AND STARTED AGAIN, RESULTING IN THE I CAN'T SLEEP YOU HAVE HEARD TODAY! IT'S QUITE A DIFFERENT SOUND FOR ADF BUT I THINK IT FEELS RIGHT AT HOME ON JOIN THE CLUB.
